This self-levelling epoxy floor coating with coloured sand is developed for areas where high demands are placed on wear resistance, cleaning, chemical resistance and an attractive visual result. The solvent-free formulation consists of epoxy resin, coloured sand and hardener and, when applied correctly, forms a seamless, robust and decorative floor surface.

How to apply epoxy floor coating
A good result depends largely on correct substrate preparation and proper application.
1. Surface preparation
Grind the surface thoroughly so it is even and free of dust, oil and other contaminants. The substrate must be sufficiently dry with a moisture content of max. 4%.
Any low areas are repaired with suitable cement mortar. The substrate strength should be at least C25.
2. Applying primer
Apply the primer evenly with a roller. The recommended dosage is approx. 0.1–0.3 kg/m². The primer improves adhesion between the substrate and the epoxy coating.
3. Applying the epoxy coating
After proper mixing, apply the self-levelling epoxy mix to the prepared substrate. Work within the product’s pot life of 30–40 minutes to achieve an even result.
4. Curing and maintenance
The surface is normally surface-dry after approx. 6 hours and fully cured after approx. 24–36 hours.
The floor can be walked on after approx. 24 hours, once the surface is dry. Optimal performance is achieved within approx. 7 days. During the curing period, the floor should be protected from water and solvents.
