ES Maskiner’s inflatable flood tubes

ES Maskiner’s inflatable flood tubes are an inflatable flood-control system that can be set up quickly and provides protection against water up to 90 cm high. Each tube is equipped with a valve that makes it possible to inflate a 9 m section in 12–18 minutes. To prevent water ingress, the inflated sections can be placed side by side and secured with a Velcro connection plate.

Like a dam, the ES Maskiner system can be placed in front of and around sensitive infrastructure, buildings and properties to protect against water damage during rising water levels. The tubes can be reused—after the flood, they are simply deflated, rolled up and stored for future use.

The EJIA tubes are available in two sizes depending on your needs: 9 m and 4.5 m.

Fast setup and inflation

When the ES Maskiner tubes are rolled out, they can be inflated in just 5 minutes with a handheld blower. Sections can be anchored to the ground behind for extra strength, while the integrated skirt on the water side is ballasted by the rising water. The sections can easily be deflated using the same blower.

Connectable sections

ES Maskiner tubes are placed next to each other and sealed together with Velcro to prevent water ingress. This makes it possible to create dams in almost any configuration, e.g. around a property.

Compact storage

Once the tubes are deflated, they can be stored compactly on pallets and transported quickly to flood areas or between locations where emergencies occur. ES Maskiner barriers are ideal for rapid emergency response and can protect homes, businesses, municipal buildings and facilities.

ES Maskiner flood tubes – how it works:

1. Pressure creates stability: Water flowing over the skirt creates pressure, keeping the tube securely in place.
2. Flood-blocking capacity: The tubes can protect against flooding up to approx. 96 cm.
3. Connection option: Multiple tubes can be connected with Velcro for extra length.

ES Maskiner flood tubes are made from composite PVC mesh material that is UV-treated, antistatic, waterproof, and resistant to chemicals and oil. Each tube has high tear and tensile strength.
