        How to apply epoxy floor coating<\/h2>\n

        A good result depends largely on correct substrate preparation and proper application.<\/p>\n

        1. Surface preparation<\/h3>\n

        Grind the surface thoroughly so it is even and free of dust, oil and other contaminants. The substrate must be sufficiently dry with a moisture content of max. 4%<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

        Any low areas are repaired with suitable cement mortar. The substrate strength should be at least C25<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

        2. Applying primer<\/h3>\n

        Apply the primer evenly with a roller. The recommended dosage is approx. 0.1\u20130.3 kg\/m\u00b2<\/strong>. The primer improves adhesion between the substrate and the epoxy coating. <\/p>\n

        3. Applying the epoxy coating<\/h3>\n

        After proper mixing, apply the self-levelling epoxy mix to the prepared substrate. Work within the product\u2019s pot life of 30\u201340 minutes<\/strong> to achieve an even result. <\/p>\n

        4. Curing and maintenance<\/h3>\n

        The surface is normally surface-dry after approx. 6 hours<\/strong> and fully cured after approx. 24\u201336 hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        The floor can be walked on after approx. 24 hours, once the surface is dry. Optimal performance is achieved within approx. 7 days<\/strong>. During the curing period, the floor should be protected from water and solvents. <\/p>\n
